Melinda is a member of the firm's Bankruptcy, Real Estate and Federal Practice
Sections.
Melinda began her bankruptcy practice serving as judicial intern to the Honorable S.
Martin Teel, Jr. in the District of Columbia in 1996. Most recently she was an
associate at Gins and Greenfeld, P.C., a bankruptcy boutique firm with more than
thirty years experience in the industry. Her practice includes Chapter 7, 11, 13, and
trustee representation.
Melinda is admitted to practice in Maryland, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, U.S. District Court for the District of
Columbia Bar, Maryland Bar, U.S. District Court for Maryland Bar, New Jersey Bar.
Her memberships include the Greater Washington Area Committee of the Women's
Lawyer's Division of the National Bar Association (GWAC), Charlotte E. Ray
American Inn of Court, and the Walter E. Chandler American Inn of Court. She
received her J.D. from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law
(1998), M.B.A. from the University of the District of Columbia (1990), and her B.S. of
Industrial Management from Georgia Tech (1987).
