Jeffery is a member of the firm's Family, Federal and Real Estate sections
Jeffery served as a Legislative Assistant to former United States Senator Connie Mack -
(FL) - (1990-1994) and later as General Counsel to the United States Congress' Joint
Economic Committee (1994-1998). His broad legislative and public policy background
gives him an unparalleled expertise in understanding and interpreting Federal and
District statutes, codes and regulations. Since leaving government service Jeffery has
worked as Government and Industry Relations Manager for Fannie Mae in both Atlanta
and Washington, D.C. Jeffery is a founding member and current Managing Partner of
the Washington Legal Group, LLC.
Jeffery is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and is a member of the
District of Columbia Bar, United States District Court for the District of Columbia Bar,
American Bar Association and Federal Bar Association. He received his J.D. from the
District of Columbia School of Law (1994) and his B.A. from the University of South
Florida (1989).
